A Moment for Haiti
It isn’t easy to blog when there is Haiti to think about.
I honestly cannot follow this on the news. My heart shatters. They are bringing orphans in to the United States. One man said while holding his new adopted Haitian child, “This morning I wasn’t a father… and tonight, I am.” Thank God for that man.
The experts say to not send anything but money (no breastmilk, formula, toys, food, and so on). So, if you have not sent money yet. Please do. $5 will help. You can go to the American Red Cross on my links… or go to Amazon.com… or Starbucks… If you want the money to go a smaller organization that is already in Haiti (versus a big corp that has had to mobilize) try The Apparent Project.
Then, please pray. And hug your kids.

A much needed message for a nation in severe need…I don’t even have a television, but what I’ve seen just on the internet alone breaks my heart. I wish we were able to adopt a couple of the children. I would feel so blessed…but I know that every small bit donated is put together for the greater cause.
Thank you for sharing the donation link,

Always good to hear from you, Susan! My mind is simply boggled at what is going on in Haiti…
