A Website Worth Sharing

§ July 2nd, 2010 § Filed under Announcements, Let's Help Out Comments Off

About a year and half ago, the world lost little Ben… he was three years old.  Today, his parents press on and have started The Ben Towne Foundation to help combat childhood cancer.

Ben’s mom, Carin, is an equisite writer.  She blogged via the Caring Bridge website and brought such raw reality to their struggle with Ben’s cancer and then their loss.  Almost half a MILLION visitors read Ben’s story. She is now going to blog on their new site and share the next chapter in their — and Ben’s story — through their new venture with the foundation.  I do encouage anyone… everyone… to check it out.  Ben story was… is… an amazing one that I know I will never forget.

Hope For Haiti…and Chile

I don’t want anyone … me included… to forget about Haiti.

As I was out and about on the internet today, I found this site called Wild Olive Tees that is selling T-shirts to raise funds for Haiti.

Please consider checking out the site and purchasing a T-shirt.  The other T-shirts they sell are amazingly cool, too.

Jade’s 14th birthday is coming up and I think I just may spring for one of these. There are a bunch more to choose from.  Click here to check them out.

And then there is Chile.  Habitat for Humanity  is on the move there, trying to provide housing for people who have lost their homes.  And The Salvation Army has pledged to provide food and other relief.  Please consider donating to help out.
