Still Mostly Okay Over Here… Sorta…
Yes, Mamabloo et al are still here, I am just having one of those weeks where I keep asking myself, “who in the heck is in charge of the schedule around here because they clearly don’t know what they are doing?”
Clearly.
It doesn’t help that the family scheduler is also the author of this blog and has a doozie of a case of writer’s block to top it all off. I am not sure that sentence was even grammatically correct. Oh well.
One piece of business before I sign off. To all of you out there you have sent in submissions to write for MamaBloo….THANK YOU. All the submissions are truly great and I am super sorry that I have not replied to you. But I will. I promise. Give me a day or two to survive the killer of a swim meet this weekend and to graduate my 6th grader and to attend my last preschool board meeting and to get two kids to the dentist while the other two need to be at another swim meet and to buy some birthday presents, have two five year old playdates and a well-child check up for Ty, a retirement party for a friend, and… well.. you get the picture. Replies coming soon. Really.
I’m still thinking. But don’t wait for me.
It sure is that time of year. This is the second year in a row that I blanked out on on my girl’s piano lesson. We’ve only had the same time slot for two years and the only other time we forgot was last year about this time at the end of the school year!! Hmmmmm could there be a connection? It’s hard to believe that so much fun —-and end of this and end of thats and appreciate this and honor that could be mixed in with swim teams, rock band rehearsals etc. All of this squeezed into a densely packed block of weeks!! :) I think we’ll all need summer to recoup!
